Thinking about joining PNBA?

The Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association is a nonprofit trade association representing the interests of literacy, free speech and independent bookselling in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Membership in PNBA is appropriate and encouraged for these institutions and individuals:

  • Bookstores & Prospective Booksellers, represented by an owner or manager primary member contact
  • Libraries, both Institutional and Individual representative memberships welcome
  • Publishers, Distributors, Sidelines or Other companies relevant to booksellers, such as POS
  • Sales Representatives
  • Friends of PNBA, such as an Author, Editor, Reviewer, other Industry Professional
Memberships generally run January 1 - December 31, however, memberships purchased post-Tradeshow are valid for the following year.
Bookseller, Library, & PNW Regional Publisher Memberships are filed by business address and registered employees receive PNBA Communications.
All other memberships are attributed to individuals and some benefits, such as voting, are extended to the primary member contact.

PNW Bookstore & Employees Membership

A Note for Prospective Booksellers:

A Prospective Bookseller Membership is good for one membership year. Please consider Membership once you have secured your storefront or are in the process of securing your storefront so that you can make the most of your membership. For many booksellers, this means you are actively discussing or pursuing your storefront lease or purchase--this can be slightly different for mobile, pop-up, or online stores.
