Health and Safety for Booksellers: Staying safe,
Preventing Infection, and Sustaining Community Spaces During COVID-19

Presented by Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association and Third Place Books on 6/2/20

Picture
Join Kim Hooyboer from Third Place Books, in conversation with Amanda Hooyboer, an RN with Doctors Without Borders. The discussion will focus on basic principles of infection prevention and aims to provide education and support as we all adapt and find ways to sustain community spaces. Booksellers from around the Pacific Northwest (and beyond) are encouraged to join!
Questions can be sent to: [email protected]

Amanda Hooyboer is a Registered Nurse with 8 years of experience as a RN in pediatric and emergency medicine both in the United States and abroad. She is currently working in Puerto Rico for a community-based Covid19 response as the Infection Prevention and Control nurse for Doctors Without Borders (known in most of the world by their French name Médecins Sans Frontières). One of her favorite hobbies is requesting new book recommendations in various time zones from her bookselling sister.
