First Time at PNBA's Fall Tradeshow?
First trip to the PNBA Tradeshow? Not sure what to do? We got you!
Right off the bat, make sure to request your First-Timer ribbon when you pick up your badge at registration. This added flair will earn you instant nods of recognition from show vets— every other bookseller and librarian you see was a first-timer at some point.
Secondly, there is no program offered at the show where you're not welcome or won't find something of value. So when you get there, follow the crowds and jump right in.
There's a lot you can learn on the fly, but we also know you'll have questions and observations to unpack after you've settled in, so we've scheduled specific First-Timer sessions on both day one and two of the show.
Plan to attend one or the other. While there is no need to attend both, you are welcome to do that as well. In between, feel free to ask board members any questions you have (they will have "Board Member" ribbons on their badges), and ask show staff about where or when things are happening (they will also have "Staff" ribbons on their badges).

- Sunday: After the opening keynote and a few Big Pitch rep sessions, grab your lunch and join PNBA Board members, staff, and additional veteran show-goers for a 2:00 breakout orientation.
- Monday: Enjoy Authors on the Map, put in a couple of laps on the exhibit floor, and then join the First-Timer mentor crew, at 11:00.
