PNBA Committees

Education
​

Joining PNBA's Education Committee is a great way to have your voice heard and to connect with your industry peers.

Education Committee terms are for three years. Almost all of the required work involves selecting and producing educational sessions for the annual Tradeshow. Education Committee members work collaboratively via email or teleconference during the spring and summer, with an opportunity to meet in person at the Spring Pop-Up and a requirement to meet at the Tradeshow. In exchange for service on the committee, members may receive full reimbursement of their costs to attend the fall show.

Awards​

Does reading even more books than you already do sound like a good idea to you? Serving on the PNBA Awards Committee is a great way to channel your energy into decisions that shape the reading of the PNW.

Awards Committee terms are two years, with the possibility of renewal for a second term. The work involves reviewing up to 300 eligible NW titles and participating in team deliberation via email communication, spreadsheet updates, and virtual meetings, March - October. The committee conducts a season-ending meeting in-person, at the fall Tradeshow. In exchange for service on the committee, members may receive full reimbursement of their costs to attend the fall show.
