Authors on the Floor in Spokane!

We'll invite attendees directly to your exhibit space as the exhibits open.

When the gates open and show attendees flood the exhibit hall to Explore the Floor on the opening afternoon at the show, we want the scene to be electric—books, gifts, rep friends, colleagues, beer and wine—a PNBA member playground! And now we’d like to throw authors in the mix. Makes perfect sense, right? That’s why we’re bring back Authors on the Floor, a first night invitation to bring authors you represent into your exhibit space to join the fun.

Maybe the home office didn’t have the budget or enough books to give away to promote a particular local author at a formal show event. Or maybe we just didn’t have enough space to issue an invitation to one of the meals or parties. Whatever the reason may be, Authors on the Floor presents the opportunity to bring in an author to work their magic with booksellers and librarians, with no minimum book requirement and a nominal fee.

For just $150, PNBA we’ll promote the appearance on a dedicated event page on the show site and your author can hang out and hold court at your booth or table for any or all of the Explore the Floor hours, 4:30 - 7:00, Sunday, Sept. 29. Your author can sign books, make balloon animals, or just drink our beer and socialize. It all adds to the magic.
