The California Booksellers Alliance and Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association are taking advantage of virtual freedoms and bringing their indie audiences together for two days of education, author and rep promotion, April 5 and 6.

Day one, focusing on books from the adult list, offers author presentation opportunities for four breakfast keynotes and 12 spots for an afternoon showcase. The "Authors on the Map" event, a PNBA tradition, offers a dozen five minute slots for authors from the collective western region—AK, CA, ID, MT, OR, WA, and BC. The "Complete-with-Authors Breakfast" is open to authors nationally and even internationally, featuring four ten-minute slots with a brief Q & A on the tail end.

Day two, reserved for the children’s list, offers a later morning "Second Breakfast" for four big national or international names on the kids' side of things. Later in the day, 12 authors from the collective western region will take part in the CALIBA “Kids Buzz.”
