Literacy Grant Requirements

• Grant applicants must be a current PNBA member bookstore.

• A 'donation' is defined as books, merchandise, or money given to a literary organization in a PNBA member state.

• A discount given on a purchase does not qualify as a donation.

• Stores may apply for one grant, up to $250 per show.

• Proof of donation must accompany form. Proof of donation may be a cancelled check, signed receipt or invoice, or letter of acknowledgement from literacy organization.

A literacy program is defined as any project conducted by a not-for-profit organization for the purpose of teaching or encouraging reading.

Submit your application for the Spring Show by
March 12, 2004.

Submit your application for the Fall Show by Sept. 3, 2004.
