Details:
Held immediately following the Signature Dish, this event is designed as a relaxing way to finish a busy day. Each author will set up shop at a signing table, about 15 of which will be scattered throughout the space. Authors and attendees will enjoy a social, cocktail partly like atmosphere as booksellers and librarians make the rounds, meeting a wide array of authors while collecting signed books.
Authors should plan to be at Dystopian State Brewing Co. where the event takes place at 8:00 p.m. to claim their table and set up. If your books were shipped to us, we will have them in the room, along with friendly and experienced staff who will be available to help get your books to your table and help you set up.
Your publisher will have agreed to provide at least 100 copies of your book for you to sign and give to booksellers during the event. You may bring an assistant, or we can assign staff to help you during the event. Please have your publicist inform us in advance if you would like support during your signing.
PNBA will give you and one preregistered guest free badges good for attendance to the entire show. Your badges will provide you with entry to the tradeshow floor earlier that day, the educational sessions the following day, and all other PNBA events and parties except those that require meal tickets. If you (and your guest) would like to attend any of the other meal events at the show, please fill out an Attendee Registration Form.
PNBA considers the authors featured at our shows to be our celebrities. Our booksellers need to meet you, hear about your books, and decide which of you to invite to do author events at their stores. Those events are one of the few ways that our member stores can distinguish themselves from online and big-box booksellers—providing their customers with a chance to meet and interact with the actual author in an event that will work well for you. We pledge to treat you as the celebrity you are and to make sure that you have a fun and productive show.
