ABA Membership Relations Manager

Nathan Halter (800-637-0037 ext. 6614, nathan@bookweb.org) is the liaison for stores in areas covered by the Great Lakes Independent Booksellers Association (GLIBA), Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance (SIBA), Midwest Booksellers Association (MBA), Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association (MPIBA), and Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association (PNBA).

I came to ABA from Doylestown, PA where I spent the previous six years as a bookseller at the Doylestown Bookshop, the last four as assistant manager. Before Doylestown, I lived in the Pacific Northwest for three years (in both Portland and Pullman, WA) and I know, having visited many stores in the region during my time there, that the Pacific Northwest has both a bookstore and literary tradition that are wonderfully unique to the region.

As your Member Relationship Manager, I'm looking forward to being able to work with indies of all sizes and shapes and provide assistance that allows you to do what you do best: be passionate and vocal about the books you love.
